Here comes Santa Claus...right down Kitty Kat Lane

 Everyone who knows me....

knows I love my kitties...

so when I signed up to do the Holiday Lane Blog Hop...

well....

there had to be kitties!

I picked up these cute fat quarters during Sample Spree at the International Quilt Festival 2011

from Deb Strain...they were part of her Santa Claws & Paws line.  I have been saving them for a special project.

 

I decided to make mine into a wall hanging....with two cats in the house we don't do pillows well!

I survived Quilt Festival.....

But just barely.....

and I did manage to keep enough money to come home on....

but just barely....

 

I mean look at these fat quarters....

and these....

and patterns....



 

I was in overload after two days at market....

and then Brenda and I stayed for festival where we had a booth and I finally had to tell her not to let me go to the bathroom anymore...

everytime I went I bought something on the way back....

I mean we were just two aisles away from FriendFolks, Tricia Cribbs booth, designer of the Turning Twenty books.

And in the aisle behind us was Bird Brain Designs...

 

How could I resist more redwork patterns?

 

I have 143 pictures on my camera and I am not going to post them all.  But over the next few days I will share some of them with all of you who did not get to go.

 

It was wonderful and I am already looking forward to going back next year!
